1st Trimester
By the end of this trimester, your baby is about three inches long and weighs about half an ounce. The eyes move closer together into their positions, and the ears also are in position.
    2nd Trimester
By the 26th week, your baby will weigh about 1? pounds and be about 13 inches long.
    3rd Trimester
Your baby is still growing and moving, but now has less room in your uterus. Because of this, you might not feel the kicks and movements as much as you did in the second trimester.

Pregnancy Complications: Symptoms, Diagnosis, and Treatment
If you have any of the symptoms on this chart, contact your doctor right away to lower your risk of complications. There are various specific tests done during the first trimester of pregnancy, and a few screenings later in pregnancy to help prevent these problems, or spot them early. Your doctor will give you a schedule for visits, tests, and screenings. It is important to follow your doctor's advice about treatment so you have a safe delivery and a strong, healthy baby.

After the baby is born
The joys and challenges of motherhood are about to begin. Remember to take care of yourself too! Caring for a new baby can be fun but it is also hard work. How much and how often should you feed the baby? What do you do when the baby is crying, or sick? How do you prevent accidents? These questions can be

overwhelming at first, but you will quickly adjust. A new baby needs constant care, but you will be skilled at taking care of your child in no time. There are people out there, including your family, friends, doctor, and support groups, that will help you get through it. You are not alone.

You have experienced nine months of changes in your body. Those changes will continue in the next couple of months as you decide whether or not to breastfeed and as your body starts to recover from having the baby. It is important to follow your doctor's advice and take care of yourself during this time.
